Why teams come to us

Most web projects fail on clarity, not on code.

The applications that struggle are rarely built by weak engineers. They are built without a clear picture of who uses the product, which decisions it supports and what has to stay true when volumes grow. That gap shows up later as rework, slow screens and features nobody opens.

We start where that risk lives. Discovery maps the users, the workflow and the data before estimates are fixed. Design turns that into something your stakeholders can click and react to. Engineering then builds in short sprints, with tests and a deployable environment from the very first one.

The result is a web application your people adopt, your engineers can extend and your finance team can budget for. Nothing exotic, just deliberate work by a team that has done it more than two hundred times.

What we build

One team for the interface, the services and the infrastructure.

01

Custom web applications

Bespoke platforms built around your workflow instead of bending your business to fit a product.

02

Progressive web apps

Installable, offline capable experiences that feel native without a separate mobile build.

03

SaaS product engineering

Multi tenant architecture, subscription billing, role based access and usage analytics.

04

Portals and dashboards

Customer, partner and internal portals with reporting your teams actually use daily.

05

API and integration layers

Clean contracts between your web app, CRM, ERP, payments and third party services.

06

Legacy application rebuilds

Move ageing systems to a modern stack in phases, keeping the business running throughout.

07

Data and reporting layers

Schema design, query tuning and pipelines so dashboards stay fast as records grow.

08

Cloud, CI/CD and support

Infrastructure as code, automated pipelines, monitoring and SLA backed maintenance.

Technologies we use

A stack chosen for your workload and your team.

React TypeScript Angular Vue Node.js PostgreSQL and MySQL AWS and Azure .NET

React

Component driven interfaces with predictable state and a testable structure.

TypeScript

Shared types across API and client so contracts break at build time, not in production.

Angular

Opinionated framework for large enterprise applications with long support horizons.

Vue

Lightweight, fast to adopt front end for teams that value simplicity.

Node.js

Event driven services and real time features on a runtime built for concurrency.

PostgreSQL and MySQL

Relational schemas, indexing and query plans reviewed by engineers who read them.

AWS and Azure

Hosting, autoscaling and managed services matched to your workload and budget.

.NET

C# services that fit neatly into Microsoft centric estates and Azure hosting.

Why mVerve

Built for the third year, not just the launch date.

Applications that stay understandable, affordable and safe to change long after go live.

Discovery before code

Every engagement opens with a written scope covering user journeys, data model and release plan, agreed before build starts.

Design and engineering together

Designers and developers sit in the same sprint, so what gets drawn is what gets shipped.

Performance as a requirement

Core Web Vitals budgets, image strategy and query discipline treated as acceptance criteria.

Security reviewed

Authentication, authorisation, encryption and dependency scanning reviewed by our cyber security practice.

Cost aware architecture

Right sized infrastructure and sensible caching keep the monthly bill defensible as usage grows.

Support after launch

Monitoring, patching, enhancement sprints and quarterly health checks under an agreed service level.

How the work runs

A delivery rhythm you can plan around.

Talk through your roadmap
01

Discover

Workshops to map processes, systems and the outcome you are measured on.

02

Design

Solution blueprint, data model and delivery plan agreed before we build.

03

Build

Two week sprints with working software and a demo at the end of each one.

04

Launch

Migration, UAT, enablement and a cutover plan your teams can rehearse.

05

Support

Managed support, enhancements and quarterly roadmap reviews.

How we work

Discover. Design. Build. Launch. Grow.

01

Discover

Workshops with your stakeholders to map users, workflows, integrations and success measures, ending in a scoped release plan.

02

Design

Wireframes, then a clickable prototype and design system, reviewed with real users before a line of production code.

03

Build

Two week sprints with demos, automated tests and CI/CD, so there is a working environment from week one.

04

Launch

Load testing, security review, migration rehearsal and go live with rollback prepared.

05

Grow

Analytics review, roadmap sprints and SLA backed support to keep the platform improving.

Business outcomes

What our web engagements deliver.

Faster time to value

A usable release in weeks instead of a big bang launch nobody can validate.

Lower support load

Interfaces users understand and logs engineers can read cut ticket volume.

Predictable performance

Page and query budgets hold steady as records and traffic grow.

A platform you own

Documented code, tests and infrastructure that any competent team can carry forward.

“They understood our workflow before writing code, and the first release was in our users hands six weeks later. Adoption was immediate because the product matched the way our teams already work.”
Brad Gill

How we work

Three commitments on every engagement.

Measured outcomes

Every engagement starts with the metric that has to move and reports against it.

Built to audit

Security, access control and documentation handled as part of delivery, not after.

AI where it pays

Automation and models applied to the steps that actually cost your teams time.

Engagement models

Pick the shape of team that fits your plan.

Fixed scope build Dedicated team Managed support

Some clients arrive with a defined outcome: a customer portal, a SaaS product, a rebuild of an ageing internal system. For those we scope the work after discovery, fix the milestones and deliver against them.

Others need capacity. We place senior engineers and designers inside your existing team, working your sprints and your standards, with our architects available when a decision needs a second opinion.

Once the platform is live we can keep it healthy: monitoring, patching, enhancement sprints, incident response and quarterly reviews under an agreed service level.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How long does a web application take to build?

A focused first release usually runs 6 to 10 weeks. Larger platforms with multiple roles, integrations and reporting typically span 4 to 8 months, delivered in phases with something usable at the end of each one.

Can you take over an application someone else built?

Yes. We start with a code and architecture review, agree the highest value fixes, then improve the system incrementally rather than proposing a rewrite by default.

Do you handle design as well as engineering?

We do. Research, wireframes, a clickable prototype and a reusable design system are part of the engagement, delivered by designers working in the same sprints as the engineers.

Which technologies will you use for our project?

We recommend based on your workload, integrations and hiring plan. React with TypeScript and Node.js is our common default, with Angular, Vue and .NET used where your team or estate points that way.

How do you price the work?

Fixed scope with agreed milestones when the outcome is well defined, or a dedicated team on a monthly rate when the roadmap will keep evolving. We quote after discovery, not before.

What happens after launch?

Monitoring and alerting, patching and dependency upgrades, incident response and enhancement sprints under an agreed service level, with quarterly performance and security reviews.

AI first engineering

Web applications with AI in the first release.

We treat assistants, search, and automation as core requirements in the architecture rather than a phase two feature request.

  • Grounded assistants

In app help and drafting answered from your content and user permissions.

  • Workflow automation

Routine approvals and data entry handled by agents with human review.

  • Cost aware design

Token, caching, and fallback strategy defined before launch.
